This is one of the oddest sport gadget I’ve ever seen. It’s manufactured by Konami and sold in Japan. If you’re in Japan you can buy it for ~ 15 $.

This gadget can count the number of push-ups you make. Obviously. As you can see on the image, you have to go down until your chin touches the red button. OK, this may be motivating for someone. But although I’m an extreme sport gadget geek I wouldn’t buy this thing for counting my push-ups. This is one of the few things I can still do on my own.

I’d rather use it to count things that should not be sold outside Japan when I’m scrolling through my RSS feed reader
